“The Seven Dials Mystery” book cover re-design. The basic concept is a murder mystery story. The number 7 and the clock also have been hidden closely together with the mysterious man, that makes sense of suspense for the viewers, could this be the perpetrator or the victim?

The Figure and Ground, Law of Closure principles have been used here. I think they are suitable for the murder mystery style. These Gestalt principles make the viewers have to look twice even more, brainstorm, exploring and figure out. I don’t want to add much more small details on this kind of design that might losing the mysterious concept of the novel.
